MY VIEW'S ON THE MOVIE 'THE CONJURING'

‘The Conjuring’

Amazing!! I would say I was speechless after this film. I felt jumpy through this movie as well as drawn into the film without having trouble understanding what the films about. I decided to watch this film in the cinema because it was based around a true story; the story behind a family that moved into a new home a new start for them all. It tells the story from every detail that each and every family member experienced while they get help from a couple that would be known to be experts in the exorcist the devil! The women would be able to visually see things and through other people’s minds, she gathers information from her perspective as well as picking up flashbacks from objects in the house that would be a peace of the puzzle.

The fear that I hardly experienced during the film watched in a cinema was safer for me, meaning I could have felt more scared if I was to watch it at home. This could be from feeling safe surrounded by other people that was in the same boat as me. I realized that mostly women were present to watch then film then men, this could mean mostly men are the scared ones and the women have a stronger feel for horror films. I must say that this film would be in the top 3 horror films I've ever seen so far. The fact that this film was based around a true story was the only part that frightened me, it bought out my emotional side as I felt the connection between mother and daughter and how the ‘devil’ turned the family against each other, it also brought everyone together.

I would recommend anyone that loves horror to convince others that don’t to give this movie a chance to witness another person’s point of view, what they went through and now is published in a book and a movie. This film would stand out from other films, anything that is based on a true story is more appealing to me! It’s not a copy from other films e.g. Paranormal Activity and Scary Movie would have a similar story line to it. As horror films are mainly to scare people, a true story would blow your minds away. It’s amazing how the real world can also include evil including believer and disbelievers about the devil and how it could affect people’s person views on that. Imagining that this story could have happened to your family would put you in a position and would make you realize how important your family truly mean to you.

While watching this film it made me realize what a small world we live in. This film is 100% brilliant to watch with anyone that you can relate to. You’re able to put yourself in each characters shoes on how they might feel and you would ask yourself on what I would change and do to help the situation the family is in. The use of camera and sounds that this film used was very important to capture the right sound to gather tension and fear into the viewer’s slowly would build up gradually. The viewers may feel scared after watching the film but I would convince anyone to watch it as it’s worth the fear to overcome you, to challenge yourself to the limit.

This film will challenge your mind, It also would help you decide if you truly believe in good and bad/The devil!

Here is a video i've search for, For those that don't believe that supernatural does happen to certain people. This movie was produced on a true story! Some may disagree on this happening to the Perron family but only they understand what they had went through, it will stay with them forever but their experience will never be forgotten. They felt that it was time to tell their story, as people weren't ready to hear about supernatural issues. It was very hard to except life including evil in families lives, how it could be defeated. Was there a reason behind why this family went through when they first moved in.

This short video of the Mother herself explaining what she had been through as the daughters views on their past and how it has affected them now!

Believe it or not, its down to you individually to think about being in their shoes and how you might have felt telling your story, the fear that you might have felt.

This short view from YouTube is on Ed & Lorraine Warren! We have the chance of seeing their house which she explains in this short video; every situation they had to deal with, an object that brought in the evil into homes was taken away by Ed & Lorraine. Each object is now inside a room in Ed & Lorraine's house kept safely away from other people. Most days this room is blessed and prayed around to keep the evil out.

One thing that i thought was interesting was that evil chooses who it wants to lech to. Also as Lorraine had said in this video, if you end up touching anything in this room that you must tell her, this is because the evil can have links to you and others around you as if you've allowed it to be attached to you.

WHAT IS HORROR??

'ALLOW YOUR MIND TO ADVENTURE HORROR YOUR WAY'

My Definition of 'HORROR': To create an impact on the human being to pull out their feelings to an extent. To show different ways of fear within an individual; their reactions to different types of horror. Some may willingly want to experience fear for fun, some might want to overcome fear itself. Mostly important is that everyone's beliefs and views on Horror needs to be respectful.

My Love For 'Horror'

If you don't know me well i could say i'm a horror freak with no fear what so ever. I could sit and watch Horror films one after another on my own without needing comfort from someone else. Horror is one of my favorite hobbies in my spare time to watch whatever i feel like watching. Although i stick to being alone i think having to watch a film with a group would create more fear in others within the group. Being able to studies different types of genres within HORROR is very appealing to me, i hope i will gain more logic behind where Horror came from and how its known now a days.
