FINDING THE RIGHT CHURCH FOR OUR TRAILER

Looking into Churches that would allow us to film and take photos around the church which might be useful while creating our Front cover for the Magazine which would be out of The 'Empire' or The 'FILM' magazine.

We ended up using the St. Phillips Church we suited all of the members in the group which lived near the area 'Norbury'.

FILMING CHURCH SCENES - BACKSTAGE

Today was the day which we would gather together as a group to meet up at St Phillips Church which we had contacted them to allow us to film and take photos to help create the poster and magazine cover. We were very lucky to be allowed to work as a team inside the Church as the priest was kind to open the Church specially for us to film which roughly took us 1 hour and 20 minutes including me going around the building to take photos of the symbols and the poster images. As our Nun actress was running a bit late we decided to have me be part of the filming as we took in consideration to not waste time. I had to wear the nun costume which i replaced for that particular scene to become the nun character and shot the scene from behind.

RESEARCH INTO POSTERS

Today i had the chance in looking over the internet to do some research on film posters to see how each poster has some type of understanding on including something that the trailer holds to be shown in a poster. For example looking the film '5 Girls' I've noticed that from watching the movie I've seen a pentagram used so as far as i see into the poster for their trailer includes the pentagram as it builds up the relationship between the details from the movie to the poster.

The reason to be doing research for my own trailer is to gather some ideas that would help me find some symbol or prop that we have used into our trailer to allow us to think of some type of position we could included into our poster. The reason why i am thinking into his is because i want some relevant ideas from the trailer to be interpreted into the poster so there is a link between poster and movie.

Here some posters that attracted me;
