PROMOTING OUR TRAILER
For the viewing of my groups as well as other groups trailers, I went ahead to produce a poster for my groups viewing. As the name from trailer seems to include the word 'NOTE' as the second word i wanted to add the feel of having a old note to become a note to whoever is invited to come and view our trailer to be part of the story, the note from the devil to the audience.
HERE IS THE POSTER THAT I HAD STUCK AROUND TO ADVERTISE THE TRAILER:

POSTER OF 'DEVILS NOTE'
As a group we included the BBFC which was chosen to become the rating of the age 15 as we thought the use of horror elements wasn't that horrific so we thought it was suitable for 15 years and over. We made sure to include the credits that was featured at the end of our trailer as it plays a big part in the making of 'DEVILS NOTE'. The cracks that was Photoshop onto the face of our main character 'JANE' played by Amber was included for the reason of evil allowing itself to attach onto innocence such as 'JANE'. It also symbolizes her emotions and how she has to stay strong as everyone around her is getting hurt. The smoke that seems to show above the candle which is shown to be lit not blown out means that the light as a good sign of life and hope then seems to be blown out and the light is blown away which symbolizes evil leching onto the innocence and creating tension. The Masthead of the trailers name was a challenge but one thing i came up with was the idea of using a cross of a religious icon from the trailer to be incorporated into the the letter 'T' to become the cross from the trailer. The idea of including red blur around the letter gave a evil look which helped the letter T stand out which the audience can easily pick up on.
THE CREDITS
Being successful in producing the Trailer was very challenging but was such a wonderful experience for myself and the other members in my group. While watching the trailer you can see the credits of the rules of each member in the group was able to achieve.

POSTER MAKING
During the making of the Poster, I've been busy trying to play around with the Masthead of the name of our trailer 'DEVILS NOTE'. As you can see I've placed the masthead over the head of our main character to stand out as her eyes look down while the audiences eye is drawn into the top half where the title is placed. I used the program Photoshop to edit the font with the help from the website 'DaFont'.

FILM MAGAZINE
Using PowerPoint i tried to crop out the name of the magazine 'FILM' to see what it would look like on the magazine. Personally i believe that the name 'FILM' didn't give a scary feel to the look of the magazine, i thought that using the 'EMPIRE' magazine would give a rough and Gothic look.
I tried to look for 'FILM' magazine that also included the 5 star film rating which could have be incorporated into our magazine for film rating.

POSTER IN PROCESS
As our group had been playing around with the PhotoShop tools we all had given a go at experimenting with the look of the poster. In my research i had been looking at the movie 'DEVIL INSIDE' poster as it includes a nun.
I thought of the idea of including a cross into our trailers name, as we also used a symbol of religion 'the cross' to become the letter 'T' to seem as a cross which we have related from our short video that was used into our trailer.
FOR BLIND PEOPLE - SOUND OF OUR TRAILER
While making the trailer of 'DEVIL'S NOTE', I thought of an idea to include just the sound of our trailer on my blog as this will also help those that are able to see and hear while watching trailer to realise and put themselves in the position of those that can not see. As my research into 'What scares you the most', i found out that mostly the soundtrack that is been included at the background of a trailer has a big impact on those that close their eyes and feel tension as well as viewing the trailer and jump at the jump scenes with the help of the soundtrack.

CREATING THE DEVIL'S NOTE
The translation to this Latin description is; 'My one and only one God, I ANNOUNCE devil Lucifer he owns me'.
FILM AND EMPIRE MAGAZINE RESEARCH
Looking at both FILM & EMPIRE magazine I've noticed that they both have clear bold Mastheads which is very appealing to the eye, it doesn't steal the attention from the front covers image which would be a character from a film. The masthead mostly appears behind the picture of the character/actor/actress which allows the focus point to draw us into the middle where the character would be placed.
For our groups ideas we thought of the idea of having the masthead to be placed behind the head as it seems to look more professional than having the masthead on top of the head.

THE CHASING SCENE
Backstage looking at footage that you can experience with me and my group while we organise our self into the chase scene with our actress 'AMBER' being 'Jane' the innocent nun.
I've learnt that communication and being organised was so important at this stage. Filming the chasing scene while we also spend the morning inside a Church on a Saturday, it shows how dedicated our group became as we had been contacting many Churches and non got back to us with the news of being able to film. Our last minute luck with this Church was a miracle.
THE NUN COSTUME
I was able to search into finding a nun costume over AMAZON which i finally ordered and here is the package that came:

PARAMOUNT PICTURES
As a group we looked into FILM COMPANIES such as; Twisted, BBC films but looking back at our narrative and theme that we created which are set in the old days, old fashion simple look. The contrast between good/innocent and bad. Paramount Pictures gives that calm feel towards the beginning of our trailer which we want so that while the audience watching through they can feel the tension building up slowly towards the end.
