A TWIST TO THE PLOT - GHOST SHIP

THE PLOT:

The movie was the first ever movie i watched! This movie opens aboard an the Italian ocean liner - Antonia Graza in May 1962. Dozens of the wealthy passengers are dancing and enjoying their trip to their destination including fancy bedrooms that this luxurious ship has. While the female singer sings away and as she entertains everyone while they dance the night away a sudden gloved hand appear zoomed up that leans over to reach out to the switch that unravels a thin wire cord from a hidden spool.
We see the spool snaps and the wire ends up fast motion that slices across the deck 'the dance floor' as if its a blade. All i remember is that while a little girl 'Katie' dances with the Captain she stays alive as i'm guessing she is short and we think she gets away alive but that's not for certain until we watch further into the film. A scream is heard by the little girl. The outside of the ship zooms down underneath and the film cuts to the present day.

I Think the last scene is so important as this movie has a great twist to the plot, unexpected story-line that the audience views. It is a good way of confusing who was the demon, why all of these deaths happened and what was the reason behind it all? We start to question all of the unexpected parts!

"The last scene shows Epps in the back of an ambulance at the docks. She looks out the back of the vehicle from her stretcher and sees the battered crates of gold being loaded onto the cruise ship by the her former crewmen, followed moments later by Ferriman. He glares at her, and carries on, her screams cut short by the ambulance doors closing and the fade to the end credits."
